Description
Other Sounds presents a night of joyous freak out noise from various quarters of the Kingdom.
Bong are a Newcastle quartet whose intensely heavy doom drone last hit Salford back in June alongside the mighty Part Chimp amongst others - now they're back to floor another Mill crowd with their meditative wall of noise. New studio album "Beyond Ancient Space" was released earlier this year to glowing reviews from the drone scene, drawing highly favourable comparisons to such acts as Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus and Sleep. Put simply, this is a band to see.

Womb - an all-female Manchester based band conceived in January 2011. Womb began as an open collective but has quickly developed into a vital band within Manchester’s music scene. They do not sit comfortably in any genre and have a wide range of influences, but parallels have been drawn to styles including; noise, punk, no-wave, psych, spacerock, free jazz and drone. Womb’s approach is experimental and exploratory, often creating music using Indian and Chinese instruments, handmade instruments, sculptures and found objects, as well as more conventional instruments.

Organ Freeman - self-styled Wirral-based party-pop obsessives with a penchant for extreme takes on nostalgic classics and influences that include Burzum, The Human League and Kraftwerk amongst many others. Riotous fun from the get-go, you won't hear much negative talk amongst those who've caught these guys live...
