Through text, music and highly personal movement, FAREWELL: A Fantastical Contemplation on America’s Relationship with China will be a feverish and dreamlike theatrical meditation. The performance, by choreographer Donald Byrd and Spectrum Dance Theatre with original music by Byron Au Yong, explores the commonality of the impact of the events of 9/11 and Tiananmen Square on the collective psyches of the United States and China.
