Tower Jam Concert Series

Roaming Buffaloes, the event planners who brought the Powder Keg Festival to downtown Buffalo, is upping the ante by hosting a FREE concert series the second Friday of each month ( 7/9, 8/13 and 9/10) in the plaza right outside of HSBC Tower.

Music and food start at 4:30 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. A perfect end to the work week with co-workers and friends alike!

Sponsors include the Buffalo News, Labatt USA and Pearl St. Grill and Brewery.

The June 11th kickoff featured Toronto-based trumpeter, Brownman who incorporated some of Buffalo's finest musicians to provide a rousing Miles Davis retrospective for both young and old audience members.

A full menu selection of grill favorites such as hamburgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage and more were available as well as roast beef sandwiches, nachos, watermelon gazpacho, meatball sliders, mini panna cotta with rhubarb, and scallop ceviche with pineapple and avocado all provided by Roaming Buffaloes, Riley’s Roast Beef and Bistro Europa.

The evening would not have been complete without a pig roast so while Brownman entertained, Flip Side Restaurant provided the pulled pork to round out the food menu.

Beer and wine were provided by Pearl St. Grill and Brewery.

Partial proceeds benefitted the Buffalo Police Athletic League.

So as the summer heats up, stay cool with Roaming Buffaloes as they provide even more reasons to fall in love with Downtown Buffalo.
