Yes, it's that time of year again, time to unveil the latest volume in our Very Cherry Christmas festive compilation series. We're now on to volume 5 and to celebrate this our good friends at Manchester's loveliest fortnightly club night, Under Achievers Please Try Harder, our letting us take over the downstairs room at Cafe Saki to bring a dose of festive cheer to proceedings.
We will have live performances from 4 bands appearing on this year's compilation: The 10p Mixes, a solo set from Jimmy from The Bobby McGee's, The Shrieking Violets, and one more TBC.
There will also be an all night Christmas disco, Christmas song bingo, a Santa's grotto and mince pies, candy canes and other festive treats! All the fun starts at 9pm so hope you can join us for the best Christmas party ever! Plus, if all the yuletide fun gets too much for you, Under Achievers will be playing some amazing tunes for you upstairs with the minimum of xmas cheer!
You will also be able to buy copies of A Very Cherry Christmas 5 on the night though it is also available now as a special offer with the other four volumes on the Cherryade website or from all good record shops and on iTunes (distributed by Cargo) and features 25 amazing festive tunes.
