Trailer Music (music for motion picture advertising) is usually different than the music from the film's soundtrack. The purpose of this music is to complement, support and integrate the sales messaging of the mini-movie that is a film trailer. There are several production companies, such as Immediate Music, X-Ray Dog and Two Steps from Hell, that specialize in this type of music, although most of it is licensed exclusively to motion picture studios and is not available to the public. More companies have begun getting fame in this industry, such as Siren Cues, Endgame, Epic Score and Audiomachine. At the moment there is a wide-range of production companies that have specialized in this special genre of music, ranging from drones, textures, epic choir, action-based or comedy.
