WFTF was a hardcore band hailing from Providence, Rhode Island, USA.
Started in 1998(?), they played until their lineup changed and they took a short break in 2000. Their first show back at Stillborn Fest at Lupos in 2001, they opened for Poison the Well, Bane, and Hatebreed and instantly were offered a spot on the national tour that winter. After the tour, they re-released the Set Me Free CD on Stillborn Records (Released on September 24, 2002) and released the Set Me Free 7" at a show that they played with the Cro-Mags on July 6th, 2002 at the Met Cafe in Providence, RI also with Some Kind of Hate and the Suicide File. They broke up in 2003 and played their last show on July 27 at the Worcester Palladium on Day 2 of Team Neale fest along with Bane, Hatebreed, Barrit, Hope Conspiracy, Ringworm, and Most Precious Blood. Former members of What Feeds the Fire are now in Verse.
