The Seven Mile Journey is a band from Denmark, which has worked with instrumental music since 1999, and whose debut album The Journey Studies was released in 2006. The basis of the music are dynamic shifts and gloomy sounds, long and intense sound surfaces, which invite the listener to absorption.

    Not sure what to think of these guys. At time they seem so drawn-out, yet I consider them one of the better bands in the genre. I listened to the entire discography from start to finish, and I was somehow really impressed. Such an odd band, but they have a special place in my library. Keep doing what you do, because you're doing it right.

    I was listening to "Simplicity Has a Paradox" on the bus on my way home the other night, and though it's not one I'd list as a favorite in your discography, it was certainly the perfect song to fit the ride home. A lot of peculiar ones travelling public transportation, myself included. Oh, your music's lovely. Obviously.
