the tanworth songs began in denton, texas, in leslie sisson's oak street efficiency. she played solo for years, regulating local coffee houses to pay rent, until moving to austin for school. after hearing leslie's demo, derrick snider opted to collaborate with her on guitar, and so began the first stages of the rotating members of tanworth-in-arden. joining shortly after was josh hill on drums and yamal said on bass. yamal was the first to move on to focus on another band, adolfo's reversal. meason wiley took his place on bass and switched to guitar after derrick left. jason butler replaced josh on drums, and thus became tanworth version 2.0. completing the new lineup was jason hammons on guitar and mark foley on bass. soon after, bill brown replaced jason, an expecting father, on drums. the rotating members' eventually needed to focus on their primary musical projects, so tanworth came to an end instead of a 3.0 version. leslie's material moved in a different direction, which called for a new name: aero wave. this site is now a t-in-archive
