Biography
Sun Valley Gun Club is an indie rock band from Oakland/Sacramento comprised of members of Boy in the Bubble/Carry the Torch. The bands name is lifted from the resort city of Sun Valley, Idaho, sometimes a seasonal home for the rich, including Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Their sound is similar to The Weakerthans, David Bazan, Surfer Blood and early Weezer.
The band has five members: John Allen (drums/percussion), Therron Francis (guitar), Justin Butler (guitar), Evan Bailey (bass/vocals) and Travis Quinn (drums/vocals).
