Snovonne Drake, aka Sno, is a musician and songwriter, active on the scene for nearly two decades. The industry has labeled her music anything from ‘theatrical dark pop’ to ‘metal cabaret’ or ‘pop baroque’. Fans around the world relate to her deep lyrics and the connection with fans has become undeniably stronger through live shows and social media.
Not less prominent is her graphic and video work, interest in which has been growing rapidly mainly in the music industry. Sno’s worked with many bands and artists over the years and, naturally, does all of her videos and graphic work. According to her: “the message of music is not complete until the visual does it justice.” This has earned her the title of ‘world class art vigilante’ by American Horrors TV, who awarded her as ‘Female visual artist of 2019’.
Last year, she also finished the production of her dark fantasy psychological art film "COPE ", where she also wrote and produced all the music. The film was awarded "Best Short Film", "Best Original Soundtrack" and "Best Concept Art" at multiple independent film festivals and its selections are continuing throughout 2025.
Growing up in a family of academics and doctors who all shared a huge passion for arts in their free time, Snovonne's artistic taste began to take shape very early on. Her grandfather, a renowned psychiatrist in his time, led her down the path of fine arts and swing music, however she couldn't keep her eyes off his medical books. The vintage melancholy cut with modern wit would quickly become home to Sno's restless mind and inspire her visually as well as musically. To this day, she pays very little attention to music genres and prefers focusing on the 'soul' of each song individually.
Having lived in three different countries by the age of 11, constant inspiration as well as alienation only fired up the need to express herself artistically. With boxes full of sketches and over 200 songs written by the age of 18, she abandoned her college art studies to fully focus on her music and visual arts career.
Touring with her live band throughout the years, she's been building her following the organic way. Ranging from clubs to bigger venues and festivals, the shows always lead to a strong connection with the audience. Snovonne's authenticity and her deep, strictly personal, lyrics attract genuine fans. Fans that crave new music, emotion and cathartic art.
After residing in England, Germany and USA, Sno moved to Italy In 2019. Apart from her solo career, Snovonne is also busy being a part of electro-metal duo The Designs and the epic black metal project Inner Fear, with Marthus Skaroupka (Cradle of Filth) and Mike Wead (Kind Diamond, Mercyful Fate).

Singer and songwriter living by turns in London, USA and Slovakia, currently residing in Hannover, Germany. She represents the temperament and unpredictability of Kate Bush, orchestral and theatrical monumentality of Meat Loaf and the playful bitterness of language used by Marilyn Manson.

A brave mix of temper and heavy riffs with fragile and heart-breaking melodies. Pure elegance in all the dark shades full of expression and emotion. Every word she writes and each note she sings is lived through to the bone. This authenticity makes the Sno-fans personally relate to her – they even translate the lyrics into different languages and present them on their profiles as something that defines their personality.
Rock and metal is where Sno feels at home but she usually mixes in elements from different genres. As she says: "it’s depending on what the song needs".

Was recorded by Sno at her home studio in London. She spent the last days of 2009 in Hannover, Germany with Jan Nemec (Magic Minds Music, worked with Celtic Frost, Grave Digger, Kreyson) producing the album, mixing and mastering.
"My Sweet Fiend", the twisted rock epic on the album, was post-produced by Ryan Chapin and Chris Domingo (Global Mastering, FL, USA) who’ve achieved a Grammy award for one of Seal’s albums.
The album is now out digitally and Snovonne plans to present it live in various European countries so keep checking the official www.snovonne.net site for shows near you!
