Biography
In June of 1999, 4 guys collaborated to form Prozack Staple. Enriched by the monotone Mount Vernon,WA, only sixty miles south of the Canadian border, their idea was to create innovative, complex, original music to essentially "wake up" the average listening public. Essentially a seamless blend of progressive metal, and indie rock with the technicality of jazz and the groove of funk, Prozack Staple can navigate nearly any genre without it sounding forced or unnecessary. Each section of their songs can be compared to movement in a classical piece. The way each part is molded has a certain flow to it that does not leave you hanging. You will feel that particular emotion at a live show when you are wondering what the hell is going on. You cannot stick your finger on it because it is so diverse and different. If you like Tool, Dredg, or the Postman Syndrome you will like this!
Unfortunately after their first album "The Calm Behind The Chaos" in 2003, little has been heard of this band.
