Biography
Profound Intent was a American spoken-word, rap, pop group comprising front man LaPret alongside Kie'Arra "Mizz Redz" Pretlow and Devan "Devy B" Brockenberry. Formed in early 2006 in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Profound Intent members began their musical endeavors in their pre-teens as a trio, comprising LaPret, Brockenberry and Jahnae "Misty" Johnson performing together as a spoken-word act. By year's end, the group became a rap and singing quartet with Pretlow. The group rose to recognition for their positive rap lyrics and image that was often taken as a diss to music industry heavyweights.
