With fiery red hair, genre blending sounds, and the grace of a ballerina overtaken by dance music, Missy is showing the world that she is certainly not a one-dimensional pop artist. Raised in New York City, she has been influenced by the melting pot she has grown up in. Missy writes music about relationships and self-worth: she says, "I don't take myself too seriously and I want my music to make others feel the same. Be silly. Be proud to be the leader and be yourself."
Citing artists ranging from Britney Spears to Kendrick Lamar to One Republic as her influences, Missy's bubbliness and charisma shine through in her lyrics and ultimately, she just wants to make people smile. Recently having moved to LA, Missy spends most of her time performing and songwriting (both for herself and other artists.)
