Milky Summer was born when Kutoy invited Chloe and Beam to jam. He saw potential in the two after they have played on a gig which Kutoy helped organize.

Since there were only three of them, they still needed a guitarist and a bassist. Kutoy was their drummer during the onset.

Petros contacted Chloe thru Friendster, interested in joining the band. Jay, the bassist, responded thru an ad in Rakista.com.

After a few gigs, Jay had to prioritize his studies and left the band. They had a hard time looking for a replacement until they met Ronic, The Viruz's drummer.

They invited Ronic to jam with them as their drummer and Kutoy played the bass instead.

Thus was the beginning of Milky Summer's career. Several of Kutoy's compositions were brought to life including Pagtila, Sa Pag-Ikot ng Aking Mundo, Awit ng Pag- Ibig and Through This Looking Glass. They have confidently performed their songs at gigs and events after just a few jams.

The five of them instantly clicked with each other. There was talent and potential which the five of them has discovered, little by little, at every jam.

They have played at different gigs and events, slowly paving their way through the industry by reaching people's hearts with their 'pop- alternative' songs.

Just when they have been enjoying creating music together, Ronic's family decided to leave and settle in Baguio. That left the band in shock, leaving them one member short. Again.

They have been looking everywhere for drummers, they sometimes went to gigs with sessionists playing for them.

Don-don tried playing for them. He is originally from metal bands, but for Milky Summer, he has made an exception.

At first, he found it hard to shift from his usual heavy music to the easy listening music of the band, but because he was determined to be with them for long, he practiced and adjusted,

With the current lineup, more of Kutoy's songs were played. These are Crossing the Finish LIne, Saint, Forever is Ours, Kamusta Na and Ang Munting Pangarap ni Charlene.

All of their songs are crowd favorites, from the mellow music of Pagtila and Saint to the upbeat, danceable songs such as Kamusta Na and Awit ng Pag-ibig.

In the two years they have been perfroming, they have played in bars such as Black8, Cuerdas/ Skippy, 6Underground, Obsidian, G-Mix, Guerrilla Radio, Kodomo, Genre, Freedom, Route 196, Ninemile, Bri-iw, Floydrose, Capones, Brown Fox, Headstock, Sazi's, Al's Bar, Mag8; events such as mall tours at Isetann Recto, SM Fairview, Victory Central Mall, Plaridel Terminal Mall and Robinson's Nova Market. They also have played live and on-air at 88.7 Wap FM and RB 90.3FM, both Bulacan radio stations. Through This Looking Glass was played on air at an international radio station, IamTV 105.9FM.

They also have played for big events such as Singkaban 2010, Okotoberfest 2010, Manila Beer Rock On Invasion 2010 at four different sites, and Muziklaban 2010 elimination rounds and the Justice for Journalists Concert.
