Biography
1) Turkey/Istanbul based Stoner Rock Band Make Mama Proud was found by Deniz Yurtdaş (Lead Guitars), and was shaped to it’s final form after Parham A.G (Drums), Ekin Çimren (Rhtym Guitar) and Kerem Çınar (Bass/Vocals) joined the roller coaster.
With a unique influence of Psychedelic, Garage, Stoner, Blues and Desert Rock in their sound, the band released their Debut single “Burning Witches” on February 2019
and followed by that, their self titled debut album came out after a short time of four months, and they are still looking forward to release new music before 2020.
Referring to their music as “Stoner Rock” , the band has performed at venues such as Kargart, IF Beşiktaş, Telwe Performance Hall, Dorock XL and Babylon with great bands such as The Ringo Jets, Destroy Earth, Godbud, Strider, Padme, Midvil, Congulus, The Flabbies and many more. With a tight concert schedule for the 2019-2020 season, the band will keep performing and create more massacre through out the scene.
2) Make Mama Proud es un duo formado por Daiana Azar y Guillermo Porro de Buenos Aires, argentina. Ambos multi-instrumentistas y productores, comienzan a trabajar juntos luego de años de trabajo por separado en la escena musical Argentina.
El proyecto nace de la necesidad de explorar nuevos sonidos con influencias variadas desde el Trip Hop, Electrónica, hasta el Rock y el Pop. En 2018 lanzan su primer Single “Frente A Ti”, el cual mezlca sonidos modernos como el trap y el pop, junto a otros singles como “EL Portal” alcanzaron millones de reproducciones en plataformas digitales.
Todas sus canciones tienen un diseño armónico y melódico muy cuidado, fusionan ambas voces para conseguir los estados y climas deseados y se expresan en diferentes idiomas.
Cada Single es una pieza única de su primer disco, “No Hay Banda” el cual se terminó de completar el 12 de Abril de 2019.
