Mackenzie Johnson is an acoustic-pop singer-songwriter from Philadelphia, PA. She is best known for her acoustic covers of popular songs on YouTube. To date, her channel boasts over 630K subscribers and 70 million video views.
In early 2021, she took her internet-savvy, video-creation skills to TikTok, where she would go on to showcase her impressive ability to pen clever and poignant original songs, often written using random words provided to her by fans. Several of Mackenzie's "Random Word Songs" have garnered viral attention, which then ushered in a steady stream of thousands of new followers (140K to be exact).
Mackenzie is set to release a string of brand new singles produced by 10x Grammy-nominated mixing engineer and producer Joe Carrell, beginning on July 30th with the release of "Breakthrough." Her sharp lyrical wit, punchy pop hooks, bright vocals, and originality shine through, much like many of the prolific pop artists of today by whom she is influenced.
