Biography
The life of the band has been started in January 2009. In the beginning, Sky the vocalist and guitarist had written some songs for his solo album but he decided to make a band. This is how the Lifejune was born. The fill of the bass position was an easy step. He called Matt from their former band. His main aim was to find a solo guitarist and a drummer with the same purpose as they have in every way of life. Sub has brought his determinative individuality adding new sounds to the base concept. There was only one thing still missed, the person behind the drums. At first they found Scott but the following year Scott decided to quit and Zag became the last mosaic to complete the frame. Their style combined the pop, rock, punk-rock and hard-rock elements mixed by some blues and indie parts.
By the end of May (2009) they made the first EP called "Whisper". In June, 2009 came out the first video from single called "Better Days". In August they was the fourth best among 2500 bands in the american music contest called "Rock The Dash II". After that, they recorded the next EP album named "When your time comes…" released in February 2010.
Lifejune get into the final of the International Live Award in Hungary (got seleceted into the 36 best performances) and qualified for the next level in the semi-final of Central Europe in Vienna.
In the summer of 2010 they’ve been playing around our country and also on festivals: EFOTT, Hegyalja Festival, SZIN…etc. The band get into a Hungarian talent TV show "Megasztár 5". After the semi-finals, in the first LIVE show they had to adapt the worldwide well-known song Hotel California.
During last autumn they got invited to the most favourite radio programme, called Bumeráng and they were the first one in Hungary to play LIVE in a Live radio program.
After that, Lifejune started to work very hard and they are still doing the studio work..
„The whole thing started in January 2009. I remember previously I had created some songs on my own but I decided to make a band. The "life" has been started…My best friends, and I´d like to create something beautiful, something exciting and something that gives hope… What does music means for us? Music is the deepest part of our life. My belief is, that it goes beyond playing. Our band is a big family we spend most of our time together. The personal element is the most important factor in a perpetual cooperation. When you’re on stage, your heart must beat together. The show will on be a success, if you breathe at the same time, even if it’s much more harder than playing together punctually. It’s important for us to keep the contact with the audience during the whole show. Our next plan is the recording of the first album.. We’d like to do it in a professional studio where the whole sounding is exactly like what we imagine. It´ll be an "exciting journey" …„
