Biography
knights in paris, the brainchild of singer-songwriter, Mike Glita, began 17 years ago when he was at a crossroads in his life. While he knew it was time to move on from his band, Senses Fail, he didn’t want to give up on his dream just yet. Even though Glita had never fronted a project before, he decided to take a leap of faith to see if he could do something on his own. He spent months writing and demoing songs, but when he finally thought he was onto something special, life pulled him in a different direction.
While there was always that itch in the back of Glita’s mind, it wasn’t until Covid took away his ability to do one of the things he loved most – singing – where he realized how much making music meant to him. He was determined to find his voice again, literally and figuratively. So, in 2023, Glita commenced on a long journey to heal himself and pick up where he left off.
More than anything, this project became about proving to himself, and others, that sometimes reaching your dreams just means taking that first step into the unknown; it’s never too late to start.
