Once upon a time, there was an artist named Hemlocke Springs who dared to create fantastical worlds by weaving hyper-personal tales into exuberant, ’80s-inspired art-pop anthems. Now residing in the faraway land of Los Angeles, the singer, songwriter, and producer born Isimeme “Naomi” Udu was crowned a bedroom pop star in 2022 when her first songs ever “gimme all ur luv” and “girlfriend,” went viral on TikTok - all while she was still in graduate school for health informatics.
Bestowed with early praise for those singles’ quirky melodies and bubblegum synths, she swiftly followed them up by releasing two more singles in early 2023, "stranger danger!" and "sever the blight," with her first EP (going...going...GONE!) dropping in September.
After a short hiatus from music, she signed with Dreamshop Management in October 2024, with the publishing firm OTM Music adding her onto their roster a few months later. She made her comeback a year later when "The Beginning of the End," the first single leading up to her debut record, was released on September 4, 2025. The record, titled the apple tree under the sea, was released on February 13, 2026.
