Griffin Anthony (born September 3rd 1983 in Yonkers, New York) is an American songwriter. As a teen, Anthony worked his summers as a stagehand for the legendary Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals before signing his first publishing deal with The Orange Music Company in 2008. He has performed at festivals including Wanee, SunFest and CMJ, while his catalog has garnered licensing by the likes of ABC, Hugo Boss and Disney. A multifaceted creator, Anthony was the principle film score composer for the Woodstock Film Festival selected documentary, Catskill Park as well as HBO's Call to Action and I Wanna See You. Glide Magazine describes Anthony's music as "a soulful and mindful portrait of 20th century America as told through nonlinear character-driven narratives, organic instrumentation, and compassion."
