Gianluca is a Maltese medical doctor and a singer.
He started his musical career by studying the piano accordion at the age of seven, while simultaneously developing his singing skills with the Malta Children's Choir.
Gianluca is the front man of Funk Initiative, and has released three singles, including The liberators and Paris, which have been played on local radio stations and have even topped the local charts.
Although fully committed to what he describes as his vocational calling, music has always served as a good break for the singing doctor, who has very adeptly found a balance between his daily ward rounds and his passion for music.
Gianluca has been practising his profession as a doctor since July 2012
