Music
Born in Sheepshead Bay~ Brooklyn, New York 2nd gen Italian/American Gary Private started out as a drummer playing the N.Y. club circuit (Max’s Kansas City, CBGB’s, Coventry) etc; with many NYC bands (Legs Latreau, Dancer, Arrival) continuing on to front his own band. Signing a recording contract as singer/songwriter, G.Pvt. went on to record with Select Records. Soon after a requested performance at Studio 54 (NYC) for Calvin Klein’s birthday party, he was signed by Atlantic Records which then released a remake of the Four Tops song "Reach Out, I'll Be There." The next record on Atlantic was "Secret Love" (now available on ITUNES, RHAPSODY, Ebay? etc…) which featured original songs written by Private. Following this, (4 albums and 7 singles) Private was featured on "Dick Clark's American Bandstand" twice, "Playboy's Girls of Rock-N-Roll", Disney's "Flight of the Navigator", daytime soap "One Life To Live", "Teen Beat magazine", and "Billboard Magazine's Top Album and Single picks"…….
Has worked with some of the greatest musicians in the world: "T.M.Stevens" on bass, David Bowie's "Arno Hecht" on sax, Steely Dan's "Elliott Randall" on guitar, Meatloaf's "Bob Kulick, and probably the greatest all time Rock-N-Roll bass player Kenny "Double A" Aaronson. And Probably the greatest all-round musician Elliott Glenn.. Produced by Steve Tyrell w/Barry Mann, David Kitay, Fred Munao and Rick Knowles………………

Appearing in films as a co-star, supporting & lead actor with talents such as: Tom Berenger, Tom Sizemore, William Forsythe, Michael Biehn, David Proval, Michael Madsen, D.B Sweeney, Tony Lip, Carlo Rota, Nick Vallelonga, Frank Stallone, Francesco Quinn, Timothy Murphy, Stana Katic, Diane Verona, James Russo, Kelly Hu, Jim Belushi, Ron Gilbert, Tommy Tiny Lister, Eric Roberts, Robert Miano, James Cromwell, Anthony Denison, Cory Feldman…etc & has done numerous sound tracks and voice overs, commercials (ex: Orbit Gum, Betty Crocker, etc) and just recently had a supporting role in a theatre performance of "BROOKLN USA" directed by T.J.Castronovo…………

In 1985 he moved to Los Angeles where he currently resides sometimes working as a Nightclub/Restaurant and Security Manager (~8 years lead security for the House of Blues Foundation Room on Sunset Blvd,L.A.; ~Trained the opening team at the Mandaley Bay Hotel/Casino H.O.B. Foundation Room in Las Vegas(1999); ~Received Presidential seal/name embossed cufflinks from President Bill Clinton for assisting the Secret Service during his visit to H.O.B.; ~Co-event coordinator for the House of Blues Fdtn Rm temporary Sundance Film Festival location in Utah; ~Managing partner of Hollywood & Vine Diner/Ultra Lounge nightclub L.A.; ~GM of Platinum Live in Studio City.)…………………………
