Gargantua Soul, a.k.a. 'G-SOUL', has recently been identified in the press as the "Best Unsigned Band in the Country." As an independent band, Gargantua Soul has achieved considerable commercial and artistic success, recording three critically acclaimed and widely distributed albums, generating steady spins on commercial rock radio stations, featured in Metal Edge Magazine, Boston Soundcheck, Unsung Hero, and Connecticut Magazine, while also winning numerous national awards such as the 2002-03 Sobe / Q104.3 NYC / Hard Rock Cafe 'Rock the Rockies' National Battle of the Bands competition. G-SOUL was recently nominated for 3 of 3 submitted songs to the Billboard Songwriting Contest. G-Soul and/or their music has appeared on The Shield, MuchMusic USA, in the VH1 movie 'At Any Cost', Woodstock '99 on the "Emerging Artist's Stage," ESPN's 2002 XGAMES, USA's Farmclub TV, and the Howard Stern Show.
