There are actually 2 bands named Every Second Counts:
1) from Laguna Beach/Irvine, California, United States who play a very melodic, fast style of hardcore-punk similar to bands like Stay Gold, NOFX, and Reach The Sky. They just released their first self-titled full length album on 6131 Records. The album can be purchased at www.RevHQ.com and www.InterPunk.com
2) from Augsburg, DE, Germany who play a slightly harder, more old-school style of hardcore similar to bands like The Promise, Unity, Justice, and In My Eyes. They recently self-released a CD entitled "Whatever It Takes" that can be purchased directly from the band.
