Hailing from the Dallas Texas area, Doosu play tight, melodic yet heavy prog rock with a serious groove in the vein of Shiner, Hum, Jawbox, Fugazi and Shudder to Think.
Todd Harwell (drums), Chad DeAtley (bass), Casey Hess (vocals & guitar) and Eric Shutt(vocals & guitar).
Doosu was founded in 1993 by a quartet of young musicians, some barely out of high school. They released three albums before disbanding in 2002.
The members went on to play in other bands, such as Dove Hunter, Burden Brothers, Jump Rope Girls, and the Mermaid Purse.
