Dolchamar ("Bittersweet") is a band that performs in the language Esperanto. It was formed in 1999 in London, UK, but now resides in Finland. Its members play electronic rock and hiphop. During the International Youth Congress of Esperanto in 2003 in Lesjöfors, Sweden, they changed their name from Dolcxamar to Dolchamar, representing a change between two different conventions for representing the Esperanto word dolĉamar’, pronounced /dolʧa'mar/ — short for dolĉamara (literally "Sweetbitter").
The members of the band are:
* Patrik Austin: lead vocals and guitar
* Hannu Linkola: drums and percussion
* Toni Mäki: bass guitar
* Andrei Dumitrescu: keyboards
Leena Peisa was Dolchamar's keyboard player and backup singer from 2003 to 2005, performing on the second album Rebela Sono.
