Cuerdas y Madera, it's a mexican group from Queretaro. They used to play trova.
Ricardo Ortega, Javier Bosque y Miguel Inzunza, was Cuerdas y Madera. A famous gruop, they used to sing in a place named "Cuadros Galería" at Querétaro, México. With their first production (sueños insurrectos) they sold 15,000 copies. This record had songs of Billy Joel, Fernando Delgadillo, and their own songs.
In 2000, recorded their second material (an independient cd too), named "Trotamundos", with their own songs and a few covers. Later they recorded Cuerdas y Madera en vivo, in this material they performed covers, from Gerardo Peña, Alejandro Santiago, Alejandro Filio, Delgadillo, Serrat, El mastuerzo entre otros.
In 2003, Cuerdas y Madera dissapear, because Miguel Inzunza, was accepted in a tv show Operación Triunfo México(Star Academy). Now they are a big legend in the mexican trova.
