Claudio Baglioni is an Italian musician/ song-writer. He first rose to prominence in the early 1970s with melodic ballads such as "E Tu" and "Piccolo Grande Amore", still considered among the best Italian music of the 1970s. In the 1980s he produced the critically acclaimed "Strada Facendo" and "Avrai". His various works include the official Anthem for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin.
