Zirkonian is a solo project by multi-instrumentalist Nicky Walraven. Since she felt that she coudln't put all her ideas and inner thoughts into the songs she was playing in her other bands, she decided to write a cd on her own. At first, it was mainly a hobby project, but since she liked the songs so much she felt like she had to share it with the rest of the world. In 2008, the first demo 'Inner Silence' was released.
