Yener Korkut, born in Denizli, Türkiye, 1952. He was first introduced to music by her mother who was a music teacher. He was interested in playing violin, saz, ud, mandolin as a child. Then one day his father gave him an acoustic guitar as a present; "I felt this shaped my whole life" he said in one interview.
