"Death Is Unity With God" is VS best release. Put on a pair of headphones and go somewhere.

Yawn. What a waste of ratio. 64 songs I will probably never play again...

I so love this project. It's one of the few artists I can listen to for many many hours. Also, one of the few artists that I can fall asleep to - with the build up and meditative nature of the tracks. Truly beautiful. Sonic bliss....

totally agree with Xhi & Jonas_Migas! i'm utterly baffled that you would hate Vatican Shadow for the sole reason that Muslimgauze "did it first". cos of course no artist has ever been influenced by another artist before...

absolutely adore the works of muslimgauze. but that was one of the reasons i hopelessly fell in love with vatican shadow. it's the kind of obscure, postapocalyptic ambient music, bryn jones would make if he was still here. no need for negative comparisons. a vinyl release of the "washington buries al qaeda leader at sea" decks would be appreciated.

So what? Vatican Shadow is still great, even if it was massively influenced by Muslimgauze. (and I love Muslimgauze)

after getting acquainted with Muslimgauze, I started loathing Vatican Shadow.... what a rip-off! tho Fernow's stuff as Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement rules.

Seems like the new box just landed on Spotify. I still wonder why Hospital Productions didn't publish all six tapes in a single package with the digital release, it would have been a little bit easier to listen without sorting them first.

Why not all tapes in a single one package?
