The fact that Dom has been making this music around the subject of terrorism and even brought up Chechnya clearly points to the fact that he knew about or was involved in Boston Marathon bombings. It's clear. Arrest the bastard!!! Do it!

I will be very surprised if his next release (or some new release, anyway) makes no reference to the Boston Marathon bombings/subsequent stuff. Hell, one of this albums has Chechnya right in the title!

Bryn Jones and Fernow should make an unsurpassed pact.

All "Washington Buries Al Qaeda Leader At Sea" tracks are probably my favorite of this project.

Yeah, Ornamented Walls was pretty bad compared to most of his stuff. It just sounded really cobbled together to me.

sure it's not just a commentary? meta-commentary? what?

Asbjorn, yes that's the idea: the juxtaposition of these ideas is Vatican Shadow's aesthetic. It's political insofar as its a meta-commentary on this kind of distillation post-9/11. Think: Tom Clancy-novel grim scenarios + Most-wanted Iraqi playing cards + Fox News polemic headlines.

Is there something I've misunderstood here or is this shit prejudist as fuck? "Islam inspired" music revolving around "the war against terrorism", from a project dubbed "Vatican Shadow".. Fo' real?
