Growing up in the East Bay suburbs outside of San Francisco, lead vocalist, Niels Sorensen, spent his youth going to pop punk and metal shows every weekend at Red House in Walnut Creek. Seeing bands such as The Story So Far and Set Your Goals in their early years inspired Niels to start writing his own music and form his own bands that would also play in the local scene.
