On January 7, 2011 it was announced in a live streaming New York Times interview with Trent Reznor that the duo would be teaming up once again to score David Fincher’s newest film, a new adaption of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.

Freund_Hein_ Great soundtrack! I'm really sorry, because it would have deserved a better remake of an also outstanding film. - But Fincher fucked it up completely ... almost beyond recognition.

Raphdabumbling @Beat_C: OMG. I had not even noticed. I am sorry. I meant "masterpiss" of course. Loved the movie. The Swedish version can't hold a candle to the American one. Also, the soundtrack to the original movie composed by Jacob Groth is so damn lame and ridiculous in comparison with Trent Reznor's. This dude has a divine gift. :) Atticus Ross does not even really exist. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross should definitely be replaced by Trent Reznor.
