About this album

© The Suburban Pirate 8 tracks (31:09)
This collection started in July 2009 as Sly and Reggie began to take the little Morris further afield than the streets of Dulwich.
The campaigning dub system that toured the streets of Dulwich began to carefully negotiate the city and west end of London.
Carter Ruck the media lawyers got a visit in October 2009 as the Trafigura gagging order got tongues wagging.
Malalai Joya the Afghan MP got a love song…which went down very well with Malalia we hear.
Nick Griffin on Newsnight prompted Sly and Reggie to pop down to the BBC along with loads of others with the track ‘Fat Toad’

Trafigura are about to hear the words from Hansard that Newsnight are not allowed to publish. A Flashmob is being organised to urge Trafigura to call of their dogs.

This album will grow over the coming months as new issues of a social or political nature encourage Sly and Reggie to write more songs…in a dub style.

They usually write and record a track on a wednesday and give it an airing later in the week.
