The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Music has been an integral part of worship in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as “The Mormons”) since its organization in 1830.

One scripture in the LDS canon reads “For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads” (Doctrine and Covenants 25:12).

The current Church leadership has reiterated this teaching by writing, “Inspirational music is an essential part of our church meetings. The hymns invite the Spirit of the Lord, create a feeling of reverence, unify us as members , and provide a way for us to offer praises to the Lord. Some of the greatest sermons are preached by the singing of hymns.” (Introduction to the Hymnal).

Tracks with this artist name include songs from “The Children’s Songbook” (1989) and “Hymns” (1980) as well as the LDS editions of the scriptures (The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price, and King James Version of the Holy Bible) and content from The Mormon Channel. Content produced by the Church can be downloaded freely at the Church’s audio website.

Not only the Pope claims to be infallible, but also GÜNTER is firmly convinced beyond any doubt.(... Only the Prince Carneval in Rome in his dress is so successful and has rather devout followers,...) ..Question answer of roots-roy, but also of the Pope to legitimate questions you should not comment this has no purpose, however. they have their opinion, as all religious fanatics the sole Wahrheit.Und they are in the new - all over the world against all reason and mind trying to convince year in their missionseifer

.The motto of the fanatical missionaries ZB. ROOTS - ROY, constant dripping wears away the stone. To be in 248 group member (ZB Hebrew-music) and other groups which he really is unrelated, only for the sole purpose is to convert this what I call anti-Semitism in the purest form, presenter to be in 6 groups in which it prevents any other opinion, friends 889, these blogs partly with 50 missions. against their will to take over...All this has system. (The pushing brainwashing of the Pfingstler and other Christian fundamentalists) Günter there is no point it all, this is my last post on your shoutbox... I reciprocate your common Hebrew greeting, Shalom on German... Peace be with you Günter... Soestdyik

Erzbischof Desmond Tutu

P.S. I never liked scrapbooking. I don't think Jesus ever expected anyone to include scrapbooking as homework. Four members of the Relief Society Presidency of my ward are going to "check up" on me tomorrow likely due to the fact I never did my homework (appendages). I am an active member, full-tithe payer, go to the temple weekly, and have never missed a Sunday in my life; and I feel insulted. I've never had four big people in all of sudden very interested in me before. In light and in defense of many people who have been accused of "not doing homework" you might want to consider hearing what this guy (active member, neither anti- nor pro-Mormon; just honest straight talk) has to say:

I tried going to that site. I did not recover from Mormonism. Is there a site on the Internet for people who still love the church, have strong testimony of the Restored Gospel, but sincerely want to recover from stupid people in the church and annoying Mormon culture? Mormon as a religion is awesome; Mormon culture isn't :\

That site you quoted once staged an phony attack on my discussion board. One day I had probably 300 people register on my site and start posting. Behind the scenes I could see they all clicked over from the same link from that site below; when I went there it was a big collusive and featured post saying, "Okay, everyone click over to this guy's page, pretend you're Mormon, and say dumb stuff, then the other half of us can be rational and put the fake dumb guys in their place." It's what they always say--few if any actually leave on doctrinal grounds, but all stick around forever fighting the church on trumped up doctrinal concerns to distract from the real reason they left, whatever it is. That's the fundamental academic fraudulence of sites like that, and the unethical lack of integrity of those I've experienced from that site. There's nothing on there that's new to anyone who knows the gospel of Jesus Christ--it's just a bunch of people ranting who never did their homework.
