The Stayaways don’t do blues, funk, country, jazz or Robbies brand of music. After years of embarking on other musical missions, the mainstay came together to create The Stayaways. Based in Camden Town, the three piece consists of Liam Devall with vocals and guitar, Sean McGourty on bass and backing vocals and Matt Whitley on drums and backing vocals. The Man A Factory was recorded at the begining of 2008 and is already causing a stir around Camden. In simple terms the Stayaways are a ‘stripped down tribute the passing of Indie and the birth of something new, guitar jangling and traumatic’.
