There is more than one Sinister:

1) Sinister is a death metal band from Rotterdam, the Netherlands
assembled in 1988, disassembled in 2004, and reassembled in 2005 by Adrie Kloosterwaard on vocals and Bas van den Bogaard on bass.

They have released nine albums, all solid death metal.
Their eighth album, The Silent Howling, took a slightly more melodic turn in longer songs, and has received very positive reviews.

Their newest, Legacy of Ashes, came out December 17th (2010) on Massacre Records.
