(2003 – present)

Shiva in Exile is a side project of Ex-Darkseed singer, and video games composer, Stefan Hertrich. After forming in 2003, they released the debut album Ethnic in the same year. In 2004, the album won the Just Plain Folks Music Award in the category “Best New Age/World Album 2004”.

A follow up Album “Nour” was released in July of 2008 on Listen & Think Publishing. Nour features vocals by Yana Veva.

@noeuropaaqui The lyrics are not pointless. In some songs, they are in Hindi (Indian Language) and Arabic. They make perfect sense because I understand Hindi and they're spiritual.

@Fuzzizzy: I think the lyrics are pointless, created simply by Yana Veva as she often do. I'm sure, most of Shiva in Exile fans would definitely like the newest Theodor Bastard album "Oikoumene". It's full of ethnic rhythms and reminds Shiva in Exile very much.
