Schiller is a pop/ambient project begun in 1998 by German music composer and producer Christopher von Deylen. Schiller’s best known track is called “Das Glockenspiel”, which became a hit in many European countries in 1999.
Schiller’s albums feature many well-known German and international guest vocalists and musicians such as Colbie Caillat, Lang Lang, Sarah Brightman, Moya Brennan, Kim Sanders, Peter Heppner, Mike Oldfield, Xavier Naidoo, Mila Mar and Tarja Turunen (formerly of Nightwish).
On his live tours, Christopher von Deylen enhances his music with breathtaking visual performances. In August 2006, Schiller appeared as a special guest at the final concert of Depeche Mode’s ‘Playing the Angel Tour’ in Athens.
Schiller’s albums usually recieve fast gold-status for massive record-sales!

Schiller is excellent. Indeed, live they are even better! the CD's are great, but the DVD's are awsome. I hope to see them live sometime. I still can't understand why Schiller still is'nt very populair (well known) outside Germany..... I'm glad internet (last FM site) provided me the chance to meet this music, else I would have missed this damn great music! :-)
