She was born in the Villa Crespo neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, the daughter of Iván Mihanovich a polo player and Mónica Cahen D'Anvers, a famous journalist and TV anchorperson. She inherited from her paternal grandfather her passion for jazz music.
