The Rouse Brothers Ervin Thomas Rouse (Sept. 19, 1917 - July 8, 1981) was an American fiddler and songwriter. He penned the widely-recorded bluegrass standard “Orange Blossom Special” in 1938. The obscure Ervin T. Rouse lived in a shack in the Everglades and played fiddle tricks for tips, even though he had thousands in the bank.
