Tallinn, Estonia (1993 – present)

Pedigree is an band from the Baltic States - Tallinn, Estonia - formed in 1993, and recognized as pioneers of industrialized music. Their self-expression is a Molotov coctail of alternative, metal, dub, and electronica. They are known as unique architects of both sonic and visual art.

Their live performance is a colourful mix of experimentation, crushing industrial metal, electronic excess, high power abuse and a show of hallucinogenic visuals - all created by theirselves. Their music is multi-faced, intense, dark, deep and trippy. On one hand, haunting and molten, on the other, “pure furious in-your-face hardhitting industrial dancefloor/moshpit anthemic revolutionary noise attack”. In public press, they are often described as the best live act from Estonia.

Pedigree have shared stage with Metallica, Massive Attack, Fear Factory, dälek, Cult of Luna, Napalm Death, Clawfinger, Rotten Sound, Plain Fade, and more.

    Pedigree was awesome tonight, i think i'm a fan now. I bought 3 of their records just randomly, i heard some of the song names that they played and seems like i got the right record, skeletal.

    I got the new album. the song "shrine" heavily kicks ass. reminds me of 16Volt. it even gets a US-Coldwave feeling somehow. "Machine Shop" and "Beyond Repair" are also great so far. this is real industrial, nice to see at least some bands still hold the industrial-flag high.
