Introducing the UK’s leading reggae collective – Pama International. Fronted by long time musical cohorts Sean Flowerdew, Finny & Lynval Golding (The Specials) Pama shamelessly hold their influences high. King Tubby’s dub stylings meet the southern soul sounds of 1960’s Stax. The classic sounds of yesteryear, with a social commentary firmly cemented in the 21st century.

To date Pama Intl have released 6 critically acclaimed albums, recorded sessions for Radio One, xfm & BBC6 music, played triumphant sets at Glastonbury, Womad, Big Chill, Bestival, Beautiful Days & Wickerman festivals, and performed alongside The Specials, Toots & The Maytals, Prince Buster, Jimmy Cliff, Madness, Lee Perry, Mick Jones’ Carbon/Silicon, Mad Professor, Levellers and The Skatalites.

The collective nature of the band has attracted collaborations from Billy Bragg, Lee Thompson (Madness), Mad Professor, Groove Corporation, Wrongtom, Mungos Hi Fi plus members from Style Council, Steel Pulse, Galliano, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Pop Will Eat Itself, Lord Large, The Selecter, The Specials & top 10 hit-maker Michie One.

In 2006 they became the first new band in 30 years to sign to Trojan Records, where they teamed up with reggae legends Derrick Morgan, Dave & Ansel Collins, Dennis Alcapone, Rico Rodriguez & Dawn Penn.
