New Days Delay

In the winter of 2001, Matthias decided to part ways with the rest of the band to pursue his own project, Avaritia.
It was around this same time that new member Achim Dressler was picked up to play bass. These lineup changes pushed New Days Delay away from their previous 1990’s Brit-goth sound and towards their current unique, exciting style. Using the accessibility of Achim’s recording studio, the band began cranking out scads of new material and continued playing a multitude of live gigs. A newer, tighter demo E.P. (“I Survived New Days Delay”) was also recorded - still with no live drummer.
In 2003 the drum machine problem was finally solved with the addition of Volker Kindt taking over as the band’s new bassist. This reassignment of members made it possible for Achim to take over his intended role as the new drummer. They played gigs in the UK, Slovakia, Netherlands and Germany.
