Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, India

Mohit Chauhan (b. 11 Mar 1966, Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, India - aka, in Hindi, मोहित चौहान), is a pop and playback singer, most known for romantic ballads. His distinctive voice is distinct, raw, honest, seductive and refreshing. Without formal music training, as well as singing, he plays guitar and flute.

After completing his education in Himachal, Chauhan came to Delhi where he formed the band Silk Route in 1996.
