Belgian singer who was first noticed on the international scene when she played in the musical comedy Starmania in Paris.

Starting with her first album, Danser on the tiny Franc’Amour label, she has been noted for strong, heartfelt songs. Maurane still occasionally sings on jazz projects.

    J'aime beaucoup le nouveau album. J'aurais aime peut-etre quelques chansons plus dramatiques, genre Le dernier Voyage, mais il est tres bien comme il est. Vocalement c'est toujours a couper le suffle et les chansons collent tres bien avec son personnage. J'ai beaucoup aime Le diable dans la boutille - vous etes vraiment une reine de l'interpretation, Maurane.

    Maurane, nous savons tous que ce nouveau l'album est pret depuis un an et demi. "Nougaro, il est deja oublie, on attend que toi. Toute seule avec tes chansons. alors? Au printems prochain - avril peut-etre? Je purrais encore etre la je pense. Mais ne tarde pas trop, s'il te plait. Le temps passe vite, Maurane.
