Biography
A mostly Cuban band (started in 2006 by a Chicago salsa instructor) that plays the lively dance songs of Latin culture. Songs are played most prominently with traditional Latin-American instruments such as trumpets and guitars and are usually sung in spanish. The group plays a wide repertoire of famous dance genres including Merengue, Bachata, Mambo, Latin Jazz, Boleros and Cha Cha Cha.
Most recently the band’s music appear in the hit T.V series Dexter. The bouncy, rythmic tunes reflect the show’s Latin characters and the culture of it’s setting; Miami.
