The brainchild of Christian Chappell (guitar/vocals) and Matt Rockman (guitar), Locke went through many incarnations during its four-year run. Originally, the band featured Brian Wilson (bass) and Matt Shellenhamer (drums). The band went on hiatus in December, 2000, and reformed in mid-2001 with Chappell and Rockman performing as an acoustic duo.
