Kill II This were an industrial metal band from Manchester, England. The band achieved some minor cult popularity during their existence. By the time of their fourth and last album, 2003’s mass.(down.)-sin.(drone), the band had gone through two member overhauls, guitarist Mark Mynett being the sole original member. Eventually the band broke up, with Mynett, along with several other British musicians in a new band called City Of God.

Both Ben Calvert (Killing Joke, Rise to Addiction) and Jeff Singer (Paradise Lost, Blaze, Rise to Addiction) played in this band, whilst bassist Caroline Campbell now plays for Hugh Cornwell of The Stranglers.

Mark teaches two modules on my course at Uni! Ha. In the next issue of music tech magazine SoundonSound there will be an article he's written on recording extreme metal if anyone's interested :)

Saw Skathi had commented on here and inspired me to! Used to love these guys (well, still do!). Saw them a few times and still have a Trinity longsleeve tshirt that was way too big when I bought it (and is still pretty huge). Good times!

Saw them supporting Soulfly at Sheff Uni many years ago. Also got my copy of Trinity signed by the whole band when they did a signing at Noise Annoys in Sheffield :)
