Jennifer Nettles (born September 12, 1974 in Douglas, Georgia) is an American country music artist. She is known primarily for her role as lead vocalist of the duo Sugarland alongside Kristian Bush. Before Sugarland's inception, she also fronted the Atlanta, Georgia-based bands Soul Miner's Daughter and Jennifer Nettles Band.   • This woman has soooooooooo much soul. The new album floored me. Her vocals on the opening track Falling had me in awe. Just amazing, solo album is perfectly sequenced and smooth from start to finish. She's much more than a country artist, this deserves to be a landmark album in any genre.
